Two days before he heads to the 2026 Oscars, Steven Spielberg will be taking a detour to Texas.


The acclaimed filmmaker is set to appear at South by Southwest as a keynote speaker on March 13, where he’ll discuss his storied career and upcoming Disclosure Day for a live episode of The Big Picture podcast with host Sean Fennessey


The 33rd edition of the SXSW Film & TV Festival, taking place March 12-18 in Austin, Texas, unveiled its initial lineup last month.


Opening night will feature the world premiere of David E. Kelley's new Apple TV series, Margo's Got Money Troubles. Based on Rufi Thorpe's best-selling novel, the comedic family drama stars Elle Fanning as Margo, a recent college graduate and aspiring writer navigating life with a new baby and mounting bills. The series boasts an all-star cast, including Michelle Pfeiffer and Nick Offerman as Margo's quirky parents, alongside Nicole Kidman, Thaddea Graham, Marcia Gay Harden, Greg Kinnear, Michael Angarano, Rico Nasty, and Lindsey Normington. The show will make its SXSW debut ahead of its global premiere on Apple TV on April 15.
